Outdoor living in Naples.

Landscape, path and step lighting, weather rated audio, outdoor displays and shades for the lanai, pool deck and grounds, all on the same schedule as the house.

A lanai and pool at night with step lights in the coping, uplit palms and warm light under a timber soffit

The problem

The lanai and pool deck usually have no lighting or audio control.

Outside usually gets a floodlight on a photocell, a speaker on a stake and an extension cord. Designed the same way as the inside, it gets light placed to graze the planting and mark the steps, audio that survives the weather and the salt, shade that comes down when the afternoon turns, and one scene that sets all of it at dusk without anyone going out to a panel.

One scene sets the lanai, deck and garden at dusk.

Path and step light, weather rated audio, an outdoor display and shade that lowers in the afternoon sun, all on the same scene as the inside.

Plan your project
A modern house at dusk seen down the length of a lit pool, loungers along the deck and the rooms lit beyond

Light, audio, display and shade on one schedule.

Light

Landscape, path and step lighting placed to show the planting and the ground rather than to flood it, and set to a level that holds after dark rather than switching off.

Aimed at night, on site, once the planting is in.

Audio

Weather rated speakers placed as matched pairs and set to a level that carries across the deck without carrying to the neighbors.

Placed for the seating, not the easiest wall to mount on.

Display and shade

An outdoor display where the deck is used for it, and shade that drops on the same schedule as the shades inside.

Chosen for the sun and weather that side of the house gets.

Common questions

Yes, and it should. Outside is a zone like any other, so the evening scene sets the deck and the planting at the same time as the inside, and the whole property goes to a night level on one press.

Not when it is chosen for it. Exterior fixtures, speakers and mounts are selected for the salt and weather exposure of the side of the house they go on.

No. CITE Electric is an unlimited electrical contractor under the same ownership, so the circuits, the panel and the devices they feed are ours, and so is the programming. There is no handover between two firms and no argument about whose side a fault sits on.

A Bronze care plan comes with the system, covering seasonal startups and shutdowns, twice-yearly maintenance visits and technical support. Silver, Gold and Diamond add after hours support, more service hours, faster scheduling and network health monitoring.
